Hello everyone!  We’re Troop 14 located in beautiful Long Beach, California.  At more than 100 years old, we are one of the oldest scout troops west of the Mississippi.  We have a long history of helping to develop young men into the leaders of tomorrow by teaching outdoor skills, community activism and citizenship, and leadership.  Our main focus however, is getting the boys out into the outdoors so that they can have fun and form life-long friendships, but to also develop an appreciation for our natural resources so that they can help to maintain and improve them for generations to come.  

Troop 14 goes on almost monthly campouts, and when you have up to 25 scouts attending, you need to be able to haul a lot of equipment!  We’ve outgrown the small retired (and tired!) U-haul trailer we’ve had for many years, and would like to replace it with something new and larger.  We’re hoping to raise $3500 to cover the cost.  If you are former member of Troop 14, a family member of a scout, or maybe someone that has been positively impacted by scouting, we would be so very appreciative of you considering donating to the cause.
