Pascack Valley will be holding a much-anticipated color run on June 2nd of this year, at Rockland Lake State Park. The money that is raised will ensure that our gym facilities are paid off, which means we will be able to enjoy the same privilege in coming school years. The funds will also be used to improve our school through initiatives set on by the SLT, new equipment, and fixing up our learning areas. This color run has been implemented to boost morale and to help wrap up the year on the right note, and we are hoping that this will be our most successful event yet!
Color runs have taken this country by storm because they are visual, fun, and not limited to dedicated athletes. The Color Run is a five-kilometer, un-timed event in which participants, or “Color Runners”, are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
- Wear white at the starting line!
- Finish plastered in color!
With your help, we know that this event will be incredibly successful, and look forward to celebrating color and fun with you on June 2nd!
