Every year Aiglon College- an international boarding school in Switzerland- organises a volunteer service trip to Rwanda, with the main aim being teaching at a local school and helping in an orphanage in the city of Kibungo.

Rwanda is a developing country, still recovering from the civil war that took place between 1990 and 1993, being followed by the horrific Rwandan genocide, leaving more than half a million people killed. This serves as a reason for the numbers of orphanages in the country, and thus its need for help.

Now, in terms of how the donations will be spent-

Every year, the schools and the orphanages that Aiglon students go to provide a list of things that will improve the education of, and everyday lives of the children- printers, stationery, sports kit and so on, and this is exactly what the money donated is going to be spent for.

On the behalf of the entire Rwanda Service project group, we would like to thank you for being interested in the cause.
