December 16, 2013 will be a day that has changed our lives forever. My daughter Alyssa was diagnosed Metastatic papillary carcinoma of the thyroid. Which is something that would be hard to accept at any age let alone a young age of 18 years old.

On January 20th she underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and they also had to remove one parathyroid gland as well as 29 lymphnodes. She recovered well from the surgery and she is now preparing to have radiation treatment this week.

With the amount of medical bills rising she started creating her own jewelry to sell online ( to help with her medical expenses but at this time they are starting to add up faster than we can keep up. We are hoping the generousity of others would help her get through this difficult time. She is the most amazing woman I have ever met and her strenght through all of this is truly inspirational.
