Women's Business Emergency Relief Fund has been established to assist WBE's and their families during times of disaster recover from recent flooding in southeast Louisiana. More

According to the National Flood Insurance Program, approximately 25% of businesses that close after destructive events such as floods, never reopen.  In August 2016, Southeast Louisiana was severely impacted by massive flooding with devastating impacts on local, small business owners.  Over 110 certified WBEs of WBECSouth were located in parishes designated as federal disaster zones.

National reports of the devastation has prompted an outpouring of support and offers to assist flood victims. WBECares was established to coordinate donations and other resources intended for WBEs and their employees who experienced substantial business and personal loss.
