Life has been an uphill battle for me as a single mother, pregnant and trying to protect my 5-year-old daughter after having to uproot our lives. We left the home we'd known for seven years because her father was suspected of sexually abusing her. Leaving was my only option, but it came at a great cost-one that still weighs heavily on us.
Isolated from family and friends for years because her father didn't like me staying in touch with others, I cut myself off to keep him happy. By the time I left, our joint account was drained, leaving me and my daughter with nothing but a packed bag and an uncertain future. I didn't look back, but the road ahead was-and still is-filled with challenges I couldn't have imagined.
What little money I had was soon lost in a business scam as I desperately tried to find work. I don't have a car, so finding an online job was my best hope, but the internet is riddled with scammers. Every so-called recruiter I spoke to demanded money upfront, and before I knew it, my funds were gone. It feels Impossible to survive without money; every move seems blocked needing funds for he harsh reality of needing funds for everything and now I owe people money because I had to get my daughter's school supplies you know that ain't free and her school clothes I've had to borrow money for groceries the last Lady I stayed with and said that I owe her like $2,000 of unpaid rent and she didn't tell me that she was keeping a log of it until I left there.. it's true .when they say nothing's free she keeps harassing me for it knowing I'm still struggling but at the same time I guess I understand.
We've been living from place to place, often at the mercy of others, and I've had to change my daughter's school twice already, Without any savings or a stable home, my worries are endless-whether it's putting food on the table or the constant fear of being kicked out of the place where we're currently staying with someone else. It's a tough situation, and each day feels like a scramble just to keep our heads above water. This whole situation has really tried to take me to a dark place of depression I fight everyday to keep out of it cuz I know I got another one on the way I don't know what I'm going to do if somebody can shed a little like this way that would be great if you need pictures or anything to prove my situation I'll be willing to do that thank you and God bless you
