In the dark of night during the storm on Christmas Eve Julie and Lee were woken up by the sounds of screaming dogs as a flash flood raged through their home whilst they slept. The water deep enough to pour through the windows had flooded the dog room where their loved Siberian huskies and Australian Catle Dog sleep at night and were only just in time to save the two virtually submerged dogs that sleep crated at night. Their chickens were not so lucky and some were lost in the flood. The house is destroyed and all their property as well. Julie, Lee and Rohan, Julie's son, are now living in a caravan on site borrowed from her brother and their dogs are sleeping in the van. Devastating at any time of the year but not the way to spend Christmas with New Year looking really glum. If there is anyway you could find it in your hearts to make a donation, big or small, it would be amazing and a start to trying to put their home back in order. If you have any questions please message me. X
