This year, I have 26 students in my Yearbook elective. They are a mix of 7th and 8th graders. We've only been in school a little over two weeks, and these kids are on it. They are creative, organized, and eager to learn about the world of photography, in preparation to create our 2013-2014 yearbook.

I would like to take my group to Balboa Park to go to MoPA (the Museum of Photographic Arts) and the San Diego Zoo. While both places are free entry, I need to pay for transportation to get there. I also would like to buy two extra cameras for the class (I currently have ONE working camera for the 26 kids). Funds are also needed for a day substitute for my other classes (while I'm gone), and hopefully some lunch money for kids.

Times are very tough at my school and our budget is NOT good. We don't have anything to spare. The students at my school are on 100% free lunch, so I cannot reach out to their families either.

Please help me give these kids the opportunities they so deserve.
