The Outreach Program is designed to educated children on a nation-wide level about the wild Mustangs still living in America today. We have put together a presentation packet to be shown by groups of volunteers and wild horse enthusiasts across the nation, whose goal it is work directly with teachers by showing the presentation package of materials about the wild Mustangs in America, on a previously arranged day with the local grade school teacher or school.

The target ages for this program, are ages 5 to 10. Older age presentations will be in development in the future. The presentation will be given in tandem with a lesson plan the teacher has scheduled for their classroom.

The materials package will include the following:

*A children's book about a real wild horse of the Sand Wash Basin in Colorado

*A professionally produced DVD featuring wild horses of America

*A picture puzzle of wild Mustangs that the children can put together in their classroom.

All the materials will remain with the school for future use by their teachers or area volunteers that are part of this program.

We wish to inform the children that wild horses still exist and can be seen and enjoyed with their parents and friends. To provide a simple version of the history of the wild horse, along with entertaining stories of actual wild horses.

Our biggest hope, is that by educating and exciting children about the wild Mustang horses in America today, we will help to insure that wild horses will still be here in America far into the future so the children can see and appreciate them in their wild habitat for many generations to come.

Most importantly,

To EXCITE them about the wild Mustangs!

To encourage them to learn more about wild horses by providing a list of informative resources that the students can read about, watch and discuss further in their own classrooms. As well as take home to share with their families.
