Bella started out her life with 8 other puppies, found when they were 3 weeks old, left in a cardboard box in a construction site. The mom was no where to be found. All nine puppies were left at MDAS and due to their age and being unable to eat on their own, they were doomed. Luckily a No Paw volunteer was there and was able to take them to safety! The nine pups were nursed back to health and grew strong in a loving foster home. A couple months later, when they were old enough, they were adopted out to loving homes. Less than a year later, sweet Bella was returned to the rescue. It was very stressful for her to be returned from her first home, and she came back to a different foster home where she showed signs of insecurity and shyness. No wonder, since she couldn't understand why her family left her behind!
While at the foster home, she bonded strongly with oh doggy sibling and her foster parents. Still looking for a home, Bella has continued to be shy and we fear her behavior will only get worse unless we take immediate action to help her regain her confidence. We have found a great trainer willing to work with her for several weeks one on one and help teach her to love life and be confident. We hope this will help her get adopted and finally find the stability she seeks.

No Paw Left Behind works with a lot of extreme medical cases, but we have to stand by our rescue pets that need behavioral help too. Bella needs our support so that she doesn't become fearful throughout her transitions. PLEASE help us by donating to help her and share her story to help her find a loving home.
