To save more pets, Ramona Humane Society and our animal shelter and animal control facility in San Jacinto, California need to accommodate our homeless animals in ways that can increase adoptions. Safer kennels and the right equipment will help us provide temporary stations for these poor stray animals.  These kennels run about $10,000 EACH, but they help isolate animals as necessary to prevent disease and reduce euthanasia rates.  Traditional kennels do not prevent cross-contamination, and submit animals to greater incidents of kennel cough and contagious disease.  The kennels we seek funding for do guarantee the safety of staff and ensure the security and welfare of the animals. The kennels we seek are easy to clean and are designed to minimize stress on the animals. However, at such a high initial cost, our non-profit cannot purchase the kennels necessary to help animals.
