Okay friends and family, I am raising money for a dear friend, her husband and their two children who lost everything just a couple of nights ago in a house fire. The family had insurance, but as we all know insurance doesn't cover those little things that make you feel at home. The family is currently staying in a hotel, but is lookign for a home to rent. We are collecting all kinds of things for the family and I have sizes for the kids as far as clothing and shoes. We are also asking for monetary donations to help with the expenses of getting their lives back on track. This is such an unfortunate thing to happen to anyone especially with the holidays so close. Any amount monetarily will help and if you don't want to donate on here, you can contact me via email or phone and I can tell you who to make a check or money order out to. There will also be a bake sale Friday, November 8, 2013 and Saturday, November 9, 2013 to help the family out too. The bake sale is at the EMS station by the Bargain Hut here in Bluffton, IN. Let's all pull together to show our support for this family in their time of need.

Below is a picture of the family. Since this photo, the baby has been born and is 14 mo. old.

HERE IS A BIT OF INFO ON THE FAMILY ITSELF!

As most of you have heard by now, Last Saturday, there was a house fire. Even tho the quick response by Bluffton Fire Department Saved the structure, and kept the damage to room and contents of the source of fire, there was obviously heavy smoke and heat damage thru the entire home. Everything inside was pretty much a loss, because of it.

All fires are just awful, but this one in particular hit harder, because... it happened to The kind of people who live to help other people in tragic times.

Both of them are EMT'S, who selflessly rush to aid and help in every way possible to make life better for OTHERS every time their pagers go off, in all conditions at all hours of day or night....

It breaks MY heart to see such a wonderful family go thru something so horrible.

Its time for this community to give back to them, in their time of need.

Yes, they were insured, but its also important to be "insured" by those around them, their efforts and good deeds arent unnoticed or unappreciated.

While the contents will be replaced with insurance, and the structure will be fixed, they are still displaced at this time, and many things will be needed before insurance can replace it.

Every bit of what is raised and donated on this site will go directly to Hilarie and Zach's paypal account so that they have immediate access to the funds as needed! :)
