You can still donate even after the deadline!
For all our other members, we're now working with 12 teen moms (besides the 5 pregnant we already raised the money for), ages 10 to 16, that already have babies between 2 months old and 1 year old. My sister Angela Maria Vargas Sepúlveda and my mom Ruth Maria Sepulveda found a community center that works with teen moms; they come to the center after being raped or sexually abused by a family member, and at the center they can live with their children until they find placement in a Safe environment. For those of you who are Colombian you'll know this is not easy task in our country, besides the center and all the teen moms are very poor and need a lot of help.

For the next few days we'll be raising money to buy canned milk and diapers to donate to the moms and children, to buy a present for each child, and to pay for the food for the event 'Baby shower' that will be held Friday December 13th at the center in Barranquilla, Colombia.

If anyone is interested in attending message me and I'll give you info.

If you want more info about the center and the moms message me and I'll give you more info.

We're working with underage moms and children so for security reasons we can't disclose openly on our fb page their information, but I can give it to you privately if you are interested in helping them in any way.

Thanks to all the giving souls for your support!

Hi, my name is Eva! In the picture above you can see my fourteen year old son and me.

I am a single teen mom. Pregnant by 17, had my son at 18. At the time everyone thought my life was over, but deep down I knew it was just beginning. Now, 14 years later I know for sure that it was the biggest blessing I could ever have and my son is the reason why I strive to be better each day. I am committed to transformation in the world, to empower women and to take action in order to see it happen.

Now is time for me to give back to the community, and what better place to do it than my dear birth country Colombia!

Pies Pequeños Baby Shower will give teen pregnant girls of low income in Colombia the opportunity to create a new future for their newborn babies by being provided with a Baby Shower (gifts and a party) with the things that they will need to care for their child that otherwise they won't have.

More than anything this project is to create connections, to show the girls that people care and that no matter what you've been through there is always a hand willing to give you a lift. This project will allow you to make a difference in your own life when you know because you cared a baby will have the chance of a different future.

There are many challenges you face when you are a parent, add to that being single, a teenager, and living in social conditions that won't allow you to grow. Most of the moms at this age (12-18), have no clue what to do with a child when they are still not fully grown.
