My two elderly cousins, and their disabled daughter lost three dogs in a housefire that destroyed their home. Two dogs, Jingle Bell and Button escaped the house and were found by neighbors.
These two were taken to Neel Veternary Hospital in Oklahoma City, where they received treatment for smoke inhilation, singed eyeballs, and injuries. They were in ICU for a week. They also received updates on all vaccines, and are now being boarded at Neel vet.
These sweet ladies, who lost three dogs, DO have a place to stay, but they cannot take the dogs there.
Local relatives have built a kennel for the dogs, on the property, but the freezing weather and the fact that no-one is living on that property at this time, makes putting the dogs out there unsafe.
As these elderly ladies are working with their insurance co., to rebuild, the dogs need to be boarded, until Spring arrives, or other arrangements can be made.
The bill at Neel Vet was quite high, and some payments have been made, but I am trying to help my cousins to pay this bill. The 385.00 here, is not the entire bill, but it is enough to give them all some breathing room.
Donations to help these people and their loving dogs to get through this rough patch, are very much apprecitated.

If you prefer to pay directly to NEEL VETERNARY Hospital, their webpage is at www.neelvet.com, and their contact info is:
2700 N MacArthur Blvd Oklahoma City, OK 73127
(405) 947-8387

The dogs are under the ID # 37214, and their names are JINGLE BELL and BUTTON.
