Baby Elsa needs help to "Let it Go." On July 9, 2014, an Animal Life volunteer saw a young calico kitten with a bad eye with a colony of feral cats living at a car wash. She was unable to catch her but, returned the next day with help. They were unable to catch the calico but, they were able to catch her sister and she was given the name Elsa. Baby Elsa also had a terrible respiratory and eye infection. She was very scared.

She was brought to the vet the next day. She was very skinny and estimated to be only about 7 weeks old. In addition to the obvious respiratory and eye infection, she was found to be infested with fleas, roundworms, and coccidia. Fortunately, she was found to be negative for FIV and feline leukemia! She was given lots of medications to help her get well.

Elsa's Medications

The vet told us that her left eye would eventually need to be removed because she could not close it easily and it would never heal. Her first vet visit cost nearly $200 with all her medications. While Baby Elsa was at the vet, her rescuers went back to the car wash to rescue her calico sister. Sadly, they found her already deceased. :(

Elsa at the vet Vet bill

For the last 3 weeks, Baby Elsa has been living with a loving foster family that is teaching her that there are lots of people out there that care about her and want her to get better. She has already come so far from living in a feral cat colony to becoming an affectionate family member.

Elsa with friends

One of these not like the others

Baby Elsa is even learning that not all dogs want to hurt her. :)

Elsa with her foster sister

Baby Elsa is now healthy enough to have her surgery. We are asking for your assistance to help her "Let it Go." To help her let go of her rough past and injuries and become a cherished member of a loving family. Please consider making a donation towards Baby Elsa's past medical bills and upcoming surgery. She is only a tiny little life but deserves a chance. Paws are Precious, Lives are Priceless.
