"Very sad situation here.

This is Wolverine and Brooklyn.I watched as there owners surrendered them today. She had to gather herself before she brought them in. Please dont judge! This family, their newborn and these babies are living out of their car! She came back in several times to kiss them and love them,in tears.. So,if you are wondering what a dog feels like when they are loved and then have to be surrendered, this is it! Please share these angels and try to keep them together."

This post is from Santina Sanders who is a very avid volunteer at the Douglas County Shelter.  I cant even imaginne the hurt that the humans and the dog babies went through today! It was painful for them to make that huge decision that they could no longer care for them, let alone themselves! Please, lets try to put together some kind of funds to get this family off the streets and get there babies back to them!  If all of us dog lovers could just donate $5.00,maybe we can get them some kind of housing and they can get there furkids back!  Any amount would be a help!  In the meantime, these two doggies are up for adoption. We must try to keep them together! Or perhaps, someone can foster them until this family gets on there feet!

Thank you for anything that you can do to help them! Perhaps, someone can foster them until they get on there feet!  Thank you! and God Bless!
