In August 2013 Bill was diagnosed with a genetic condition known as hemochromatosis. The disease has caused severe chirrosis due to excessive iron overload. He needs a new liver to survive. Unable to work or live on his own as he awaits a donor is starting to take a financial toll. Our hope is that his transplant will come soon there is no way to know when as there are many more awaiting new organs than there are donors.

By helping to alleviate the stressors created by mounting bills he can better focus on staying strong physically and emotionally as he waits for his live saving donor.

Running Miles for Bill

On January 13, 2014 Bill's cousin Gail LeBlanc Deneault ran and completed her 1st marathon at Walt Disney World in Florida. She dedicated her race to Bill and raised nearly $4000 in donations for Bill. We are very grateful and proud of Gail for the dedication and hard work to complete the race. Thank you to all who contributed to her run we are extremely grateful.
