Woof! My name is Darby O’Gill, also known as Two Cents Darby or Pumpernickel Butt. My Mom came across me a week before St. Patrick’s Day and knew we were meant to be together. Since then we have been together as much as possible going on numerous adventures.

Lately though things have been tough for us. Mommy seems sad a lot and gets really wide eyed and I can hear her heart racing. I heard her talking on the phone and she used words like depression and anxiety. This must be why she isn’t working anymore. She got really sick last winter and since then she has had really bad money problems. I can tell because I don’t get toys anymore. She’s trying for disability but it takes time because a lot of people are sick and we have to wait our turn. Our car was taken away but Mom worked really hard to get it back. We also were living in South Carolina the last two years but had to move back to Wisconsin. Mom feels so bad. She thinks she’s not taking good care of me. I chipped my tooth two years ago. I don’t complain but she gets a scrunchy look on her face when she looks at it. I haven’t had those yummy liver tasted treats mom calls heartworm pills in a few months and she’s worried about that too. I’m glad winter is here because I won’t need that slimy tick stuff until spring. I wish she knew how much I love her. She says there are no words to how much she loves me. I know what they are, it’s “woof.”

Thank you for visiting our page. We would be very grateful if anyone can help us out. I can’t express how much your assistance for us will mean for us. Someday we will pay if forward.  With care always, Darby and Shannon
