Dec. 29, 2013 - Jan. 10, 2014 I will go to South Africa to study music in worship, race relations, apartheid, HIV/AIDS, poverty, unemployment, education and culture from a ministerial viewpoint. CLICK ON THE ARROW BELOW TO HEAR BISHOP DESMOND TUTU.
This December and January (Dec. 29, 2013 - January 10, 2014) I plan to go to South Africa to study music in worship, race relations, apartheid, HIV/AIDS, poverty, unemployment, education and South African culture from a ministerial viewpoint.

This immersion embodies passions I have studied and focused on in both politics, education and seminary. Going to South Africa will make me a better person and minister.

The trip costs $5,000 and I need your help to go. Donate directly to kirstenhancock@yahoo.com at Paypal.com or go through the FundRazr link. Be sure to click on the box with the arrow on the "Destination South Africa" page to watch a brief inspiring video by Bishop Desmond Tutu.

If half of my Facebook friends donate $5 to this cause, then I can go on this mission trip to South Africa. Thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support!

Dr. Eileen Guenther, Associate Professor of Church Music will lead our group of seminary students. Leaving Washington, DC on an intercultural immersion is a graduation requirement for a Master of Divinity Degree at Wesley Theological Seminary. www.wesleyseminary.edu
