Jim Turner, an Orchard Park graduate (Class of ’88), Gulf War Veteran, husband and father to three boys (Evan 12, Jack 10 and Liam 8) is battling Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that has spread to his liver. Jim is an active father, Club Master of Pack 616 and baseball coach for his sons. Diagnosed on December 30, 2011, Jim is now suffering with blood clots that are painful and make breathing difficult. He is undergoing procedures to ease his pain while beginning the start of many cancer treatments. We need your help! We are soliciting food, raffle items and monetary donations for the “Turnout for the Turners” benefit to be held March 10, 2012 from 2-7 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hamburg, NY. Donations of any kind are welcome and checks may be made payable to “Turnout for the Turners” (Tax ID# 90-0785850) and sent directly to M&T Bank, 2180 Union Road, West Seneca, NY 14224.
