The time has come for Greensboro to come together and support
the hardest hit. We are putting our rivalries aside(temporarily).
Dudley High School Class of 99 in collaboration with Northeast
Guilford High School and surrounding schools are working to raise
money to feed folks in need. We all had a grandma, auntie, or cousin
that lived or lives on the east side. We are asking for folks to
donate whatever they can at this point. Our goal is $500, but if we can exceed that
goal let’s do it!! If you’d like to help coordinate as an ambassador

-Provide hotdogs, chips, and water to people at the Glenwood
shelter.

Marcus Hood(DHS)and Desmond Coble(Northest High) are working to
get set up as soon as possible. Marcus has many other hats that he
wears, including landscaping, so his services are also needed to
help with clean up. If you can volunteer today, that would be a big
help as well.
Note**We are not heading directly into the hardest hit areas
yet, due to safety concerns(downed power lines, gas leaks, etc).
DHS C/O of 99 may organize a clean up effort for the weekend,
but that is TBD.
