A big life changing event is upon me. I am moving back to Los Angeles, California! where I will plug myself back into the sphere of music performance and reposition myself in a creative space once again to share my theremin music with the world. This crowdfunding campaign is specifically set up to help me offset the immense costs of relocating, which is essential for me to be most effective in sharing my work in the next chapter of my life. From my last relocation experience, I learned that the first few months of the relocation are the most expensive. I need your help to keep me alive during these few first months!
Beginning in 2008, I embarked a very long journey to figure out who I am and what I am doing on this green Earth. I left Los Angeles and my travels took me to many great places in Europe and the United States where I had some amazing life enriching experiences. There was a catch though. In order to go the distance on this epic trek I had to leave my ego and personal attachments behind. The great news is that I found what I was looking for, my direction and purpose in life! It was not easy to find, I can assure you. The not so good news is that it was very expensive and it depleted a lot of resources I had built up over a many years.
When I completed my travels I had to recharge in a comfortable environment. This has been Dallas, Texas for the past two years. It however became clear to me that my home is back in Los Angeles, a creative hotspot that hosts a network of like-minded creative artists and musicians that I simply need to be nearby once again.
Helping me in this crowdfunding campaign will effectively help me on my way to becoming a great thereminist, sharing my music, software creations and skills as a teacher to further the craft of theremin playing worldwide. Specifically, the funds will go towards living expenses in the first months of my relocation.
I looked around at the various platforms for raising funds, and FundRazr seemed the best for this particular mission. The fees and processing are minimal and your donations can help immediately once they are received, even before the deadline is reached. Because it's integrated with Paypal, donations can be made securely and received securely very quickly. My time frame is short because my goal is to get set up with a new place to live in November.
