Thomas is a 38yr old husband, father of four, & youth coach that has had non-specific cerebral atxia since early adulthood. His condition has no cure and is highly aggressive in taking his arms, legs and can affect his heart lungs etc if he doesn't stay as physically active as possible. It has already caused him to have very little balance and go from being a star athlete to having to depend on a mobility scooter to get around. He is a youth football coach, loves being outdoors, hunting fishing, & spending time with his family. All of his medicare approved scooters have been geared towards only getting around indoors & on smooth surfaces. This limits him in his beloved activities. He sits out of activities & even coaching is hard if it is raining and damp as he cannot navigate the muddy surfaces & his control panels short out. He cannot navigate rough terrain & it's hard for him since we have four children from ages 14-4 who play every sport available. We love camping and lately it hasn't been possibly due to his scooter being almost dead. We need your help in keeping him active & mentally healthy. He is only 38 & seeing him progress more & more & be able do less & less simply because his scooter won't allow it is devastating to his family & friends. The $ donated will get him a top of the line all terrain mobility scooter and go towards a vehicle caddy for the back of his vehicle. Any amount you can give will be appreciated even if it's just a couple of dollars.
