Kelly is a wonderful horsey person in Las Vegas who's horses are being shot with a pellet gun by neighbors while in their backyard. Vet bills, a surveillance system a taller wall to protect them from the neighbors, and attorney fees are things Kelly has to provide from a single income household.

Kelly's son was diagnosed with classic autism at two and a half. The neurologists words were "significantly effected". She told her husband they needed to do all these alternative treatments and see these expensive doctors so they could try to reverse it. He went along with it despite thinking they were throwing thousands down the toilet, and today he is 99 percent normal. Now he would be considered high functioning autistic and it is hard to see. He still struggles with empathy or putting himself in other's shoes and like most autistic kids, gets lost in video games to shut himself out of the world. So she talked her husband into moving to a house half the size, but with a big back yard with a garden and nature and animals so our kids would do healthier things and animals would teach my son empathy. She also told him this way they could do their own hippo therapy with him whenever they want. So he did this for them, Kelly feels horrible that it has been such stress and financial burden for him to worry about these idiot neighbors and how he can protect us. Kelly says "she feels blessed we recovered our son to the point we have, so I can't complain about anything life throws me. I just thought we could enjoy our little ranch and relax. It's just turned into a nightmare."
