My name is Conqy. I found my forever home almost 3 years ago. Not all dogs are as lucky. My mom is running the Philly half-marathon to raise money for those dogs. You can say she is running for many homes. Here is my story...

There's not much to ...
My name is Conqy. I found my forever home almost 3 years ago. Not all dogs are as lucky. My mom is running the Philly half-marathon to raise money for those dogs. You can say she is running for many homes. Here is my story... There's not much to remember of my younger days on the streets of Philly. I had whatever street cred a starved, wounded boy could have. I must have lost the battle one day, when I woke up to find myself in an operating room. The city of brotherly love finally gave me a taste of what "love" could mean. It was my second chance at life. Thanks to the awesome vets in Philly, Sarah, Shana & co, and Mighty Mutts, I slowly healed both my body and heart. Eventually I found a foster mom in NY. Her name is Krissie, and we fell in love. She adopted me for real almost 3 years ago, and we now live together on the Upper East Side! My mom is returning to my home city to run a half marathon in support of the abused, defenseless, homeless animals that Mighty Mutts has rescued. We are raising money to give dogs their "second chance". I am not a long distance runner, but I like running a little bit with my mom sometimes to show her my love and support. Perhaps you could show her - and all the dogs out there that need help - some of your love and support too? Any small donation will help us reach our goal! Thank you for helping us run for forever homes. Hope to see you around the dog park! <3 Conqy More information about the organization can be found at www.mightymutts.org
