Hi everyone, okkkkk so we are finally nearly there. we had issue after issue with benefits and them going back on previously agreed statements. Up until no money has been paid out, even in regular benefits. So any money coming in has been used on housing and day to day living. Which as you can imagine has been a bit stressful. Some good news has just come in (in letter form this time) that she will start receiving the benefits she is entitled to in the next couple of weeks. Home stretch now!

Woman and baba are safe in their new home. All rental history was in ex partners name so only housing we could get was 6 months rent and deposit in advance. So, this is where a lot of recent funds have gone to. benefits system have agreed to rent on the house going forward! we are now fighting to backdate.  Going to be another 3 weeks before anything comes through so will keep fundraiser open until then, anything between now and then is for living expenses for Mam and baby. Thank you all so much!!!

*update* the lady and her child are safe in temporary accommodation. Funds to date have been used to secure perm accommodation which will be available next week. All other proceeds go to living expenses and supplies until benefits come through 

This fundraiser is being organised on behalf of an acquaintance who got in touch in desperate need of help.

This woman has a young child and is currently living in an unsafe situation with her partner. She very recently tried to leave the home but didn't have the funds to safely look after her child, so she returned which has made their situation even more unsafe.

Her family live quite far away and she doesn't have contact so she is quite isolated. It would be great if we could raise enough to be able to set a plan in action so she could safely leave the home with her child.
