Hello, my name is Michael Arrigo I am 46 years old. I am the father of two boys Mikey and Kyle. Mike Jr. is married and Kyle is in college. I am also the caregiver to my elderly mother Joyce. I am a member of the Avenue church. I enjoy hunting, fishing, football, cooking, and grilling. I am Italian so I love to eat.

In April of 2013 I was diagnosed with Ameloblastoma. Ameloblastoma is a rare noncancerous (benign) tutor that develops most often in the jaw near the molars. Ameloblastoma begins in the cells that form the protective enamel lining of your teeth.

Ameloblastoma occurs in men more often than women. Though it can be diagnosed at any age, Ameloblastoma is often diagnosed in adults in their 40's and 50's. Despite being benign, Ameloblastoma can be very aggressive, growing into the jawbone and causing swelling and pain. Very rarely, Ameloblastoma cells can spread to other areas of the bodysuch as the lymph nodes in the neck and lungs.

I has my lower jaw removed in June 2013. I then had reconstructive surgery and a bone graft in January of 2014. I am facing two more surgeries; one consisting of a skin graft and implants scheduled for October 9th, 2014. The second will be to finally get my teeth.

In 2004 I fell 25ft breaking my back and knee. Due to my injuries I was placed on Social Security Disability. Medicare will not cover upcoming surgeries. Therefore, I am asking for help as I am unable to afford the surgeries that I need. The amount I need to raise is $15,000.00. This amount will cover both surgeons and dental needs. I would greatly appreciate any and all donations. May God bless you richly as you give.
