5 Years running
While living my life and minding my own business, I was the victim of a hit and run accident when riding my bicycle home on April 15, 2013. I had surgery on Wednesday, April 24th to re-attach my pelvis which was broken and is separated from my spine.
I know that most of you are aware of the accident that has put me in my current circumstances. On April 15 as I was riding home after a night of enjoying Kermit Ruffin's, I was the victim of a hit and run. I was on a bike the unknown had the advantage of an automobile.
As a result of the accident I broke my hip dislocating it from my spine and have suffered neuroloigcal damage. My hip has been healing well, and I am getting around in my wheel chair like a champ. I have an appointment on July 2nd in which I hope they will give me the OK to begin to rehab walking. On monday I have an appointment with a chiropractic neurologist to begin to work on my double vision. I am looking forward to getting more into rehab so I can get back to work, and being in the kitchen.
I am very thankful to my neighbors and friends for helping me out, and taking me on feild trips. Scotty, Betty, Keith, Thea and Shae.
A big thanks to Dustin Vanderbunt for replacing my flip flops and Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band for delivering them.
I am a lucky boy
