Hello, my name is Jessica.  I am a single mom to a 12 yr old little girl and 2 Boston terriers.  I’m sharing my story in hopes that we can raise some much needed funds to get our family pet the money she needs to get well.  Greedy Gretchen is an 11 year old Boston terrier.    She’s been pretty healthy most of her life.  The past 2 years have been trying to say the least.  About 2 years ago she became sick and we noticed a lump in her mammary gland.  She ended up having surgery and all was well.  She recovered and things were good.  The surgery was about 1200$.  Luckily, I had just done my taxes and was able to pay for this by the grace of God.  Currently, we noticed this lump come back.  It has now ruptured and she’s not doing good.   She’s going to need another surgery.  As of now, it seems like everything is happening at once and I do not have the means to pay for this.  I know in my heart that there are still good people out there that love animals who may be able to help.  This is my first dog.  I got her for my daughter when she was only one yrs old so that they can grow up together, and that they did.  My daughter had a rough start, born with bi-lateral club feet.  She had 5 surgeries before the age of 5.  This dog is her best friend.  I got Gretchen to give my daughter an experience of having a dog and unconditional love.  They’ve been inseparable ever since.  I know in my heart that she’s got many more years ahead but she needs to have this mass removed.
