Emmaline Payette hasn't added a story.
Hello Humans,
ECOAGE@satellite is a collaborative project that merges art,
sound and performance. Brooklyn-based artists Emmaline Payette,
Paulapart and Colleen Marie Foley will transform a storage container
into an immersive installation environment during Art Week in Miami,
December 6-9th. We are an artist-run organization and in need of
funding to help support this project. Funds will be used for renting
equipment and purchasing materials (like speakers, sound boards and
lighting), transporting work, insurance, paying artists and collaborators.
Artists will use live plants, recycled materials, sonic shells,
video projections, and personal devices (like recycled ipads) to
reflect ecologies of the Anthropocene. While inhabiting the Satellite
Art Show in Miami, ECO AGE will explore local ecological issues like
rising tides, loss of coral reefs, ocean acidification and pollution.
ECO AGE will also curate art happenings with live sound and music
performances played through Paulapart's sonic shells.
We hope to see you in Miami for ECOAGE@Satellite! Thank you for supporting us and
our work!

Perks
Measures 4"x6". This fine lasercut wood panel is an off cut from making Paulapart's Om Shells.
This perk includes a curated selection of five small "stoned plastic" sculptures by Emmaline Payette. These interactive sculptures are made entirely of used plastic bags. Soft plastics are not recycled due to cost inefficiencies and often end up polluting land and water.

This perk is a framed coral sculpture by Emmaline Payette. The coral is made with one used plastic bag. The red is the color of the bag. More pieces from this series will be exhibited in ECOAGE@satellite.
