My name is Stuart McIntosh and I started running last year to shed a few pounds and now I'm looking to raise a few for a special little 4 year old girl called Hollie Shaw who is in my sons P1 class.

The Glasgow Half Marathon on the 5th October 2014 will be my 3rd half marathon this year and after seeing the amount of fundraisers at my last one I thought I would like to do something similar so here is a little info about Hollie.

Hollie was born with a very rare condition called Tufting Enteropathy (Intestinal Failure). She is one of only a handful of children within Europe diagnosed with this condition.

She doesn't eat any food and is totally dependant on her treatment called Parenteral Nutrition. This means everything she needs to live is given directly into the bloodstream.

Hollie is drip fed and attached to 3 pumps every night, everything has to be sterile as infection is one of the main risks to Hollie and her routine is very strict.

Hollie doesn't know life any other way and is a happy, funny, loving, bright little girl.

Some equipment Hollie needs includes a medical bed and chair to help her be more mobile and social whilst being treated.

This is a life limiting condition so please help us raise funds to buy Hollie special equipment for ongoing treatments and please donate if you can.

Many thanks
