Dear reader, Hi there my name is Jason and next I plan on spending my summer helping out farmers in rural india as well as visiting beautiful temples, watching amazing wildlife such as tigers, panthers and elephants go about thier busy routines. ...

Dear reader,

My name is Jason Woods and I am a 5th year pupil at Bridge of Don Academy. Outlook Expeditions has visited our school with regards to a trip next summer that we can go on.

During the month of April, I raised £300 for the deposit by selling home bakes and washing cars. At the end of June I am taking part in a tandem skydive, weather permitting B-) and in July I am going to shave all my hair to raise more money. I have curly shoulder length hair and have had for years so that will be a bit of a change from my usual locks. I'm also waiting to hear from Union Square about whether I can do a fundraiser there, where I plan to ride a stationary bike all day in my blue morph suit.

During the trip I shall be helping out farmers we will be building houses planting crops and flowers as well as teaching the children english, as well as visiting beautiful temples, watching amazing wildlife such as tigers, panthers and elephants go about thier busy routines. And doing a fair bit of sweating under the hot indian sun.

The whole point of the trip as well as of course helping the locals is to help us, the volunteers grow as people. the expedition focuses on teamwork leadership and communication. All of are very important for becoming stronger versions of ourselves.I really reallly want to go on this trip and although I thought raising the money would be near enough impossible, it is'nt and i'm doing all right. But that said this month has been particularly dry (money wise). To raise the money for the deposit I spent several hours of my weekends washing car, simple enough when your not trying to balance that with studying and training. I still need £3,500.00 and every day that goes by i'm getting closer and closer to the dead line for the trip. The simple fact is, if I don't raise the final amount then all my carwashing will have been in vain. the only way I got through the rather terrible back pain of being crouched down all day scrubbing dirt off of peoples tyres was by telling myself that by some stoke of magic, luck , devine intervention or very generous person I would make it to India.

Theres not much else I can say other than PLEASE HELP. GIVE GENOROUSLY, any amount will help even a pound will get me closer to India. Thank you for taking valuble time out of your day fore reading this I reallllly appreciate it :-)
