Right now, I’m facing one of the hardest moments of my life—feeling physically and emotionally separated from the person who means the world to me. My love, Cooper, and I have been apart for four years. That's four years of dreams, memories, and hopes, all floating in the air but not yet grounded in reality. I can't put into words.

This is where I turn to the kindness of others, in the hope that the power of love and community might help bring me closer to Cooper. It can take longer. But when you spend so much time waiting for your person. Trust me, there is nothing more beautiful than never giving up. We might face financial struggle, not a very supportive family. Still, why would I give up in something beautiful? If only I could write 20 poems about our story.
