Melanie Smith has been chosen to represent the American Cetacean Society (ACS) at the International Whaling Commission Conference (IWC), held in Slovenia this September.

She will bring the conference to the public through daily blogging of the days' events, as well as investigating the current malaise of the IWC.

ACS is a non-profit organization dedicated to education, research, and conservation of whales, dolphins, and porpoises. Due to the non-profit nature of this organization, it does not have enough funds to fully financially support our representative.  We are asking for your help to ensure ACS has a presence at the IWC conference!
