When Typhoon Haiyan hit Malapascua Island in the Philippines on November 8th 2013, many close friends of mine lost everything. After they did so much to help me, the least I could do was try to help them, so I will be running a half marathon in my full scuba gear (thats a mask, wetsuit, BCD, regs and tank) to raise money for them.

My friends set up Rebuild Malapascua to help rebuild homes on the island, as well as helping to feed the local kids and provide medical care and vitamin treatments. All funds will go direct to them.

Please give generously guys :) Scuba gear weighs a lot and a half marathon is a long damn way!!

I'll post pictures as soon as I can, including some from when I ran for them dressed as scuba santa.

And finally guys, please visit Rebuild at http://rebuildmalapascua.com/
