My husband and I received a phone call Saturday (November 2nd) evening from a lady named Lisa. She had a rental property that she evicted the tenant from on October 1st and she left behind a "male pitbull chained up out back with no food or water" she reports that her mother and herself had been feeding and watering him dailiy. But temperatures are dropping below freezing and they were worried as he had no shelter. We agreed to meet her at the property and to rescue him.

So we pulled into the driveway and all we noticed was this Pit Bull on the front porch lunging at us. We thought to ourself "crap this is going to be a long night" so we got our leashes and hot dogs and headed to the porch to get the dog. Lisa hollared at us asking us what we were doing....we told her "getting the dog" she was horrified to learn there was a dog on the porch. She didn't know about her because all the neighbors dogs bark, and she is so scared she probably hid the whole time. This meant she had no food or water for weeks!! They had been feeding and watering the dog in the back yard. I headed to the back yard to get the dog that was chained, my husband stayed on the porch trying to get that one. After 45 minutes of neither of us having any luck we decided we could get the male together as he was on a chain. So we got him and put him in the pet porter we brought. The dilema with that is, we were only prepared for 1 dog and only brought 1 pet porter......so after 2 hours I was able to get the dog on the porch leashed. Both dogs lived in piles of poop and puddles of pee. It was completely disgusting! Both dogs infested with fleas and worms.

We decided to name the male Pretty Boy Floyd, he is an American Bully estimated to be 1-2 years old. We have no known medical history on either dog because the owner refuses to return our phone calls. We decided to name the female Diamon in a Ruff, she is an American Pit Bull Terrier and estimated to be 2-3 years old. She appears to have had puppies at some point in time. Both dogs need to be fixed, vaccinated, micro chipped and heart worm tested. We pray they are heart worm negative. Please donate to their medical fund!!
