GDRA has taken in a few needy danes over the past couple of months and we could use some help covering the rising medical costs.  First, we helped Nash County with 2 danes, Faith and Donato, that were taken as part of a court case.  They are now in our custody and both will need heartworm treatment.  They were very malnourished but have started to thrive in the care of their new foster home.  You can see their true personalities start to shine with some good food and love. In addition, we have a 6 month old little girl named Haley that is going to need corrective eye surgery for her entropian and cherry eye.  Her vision is affected adversely so she can really benefit from the surgery.  She is a little fearful which may be partly from her decreased vision but her foster home is working diligently with her.  Finally, we have a female merle named Ryder that came out of Rocky Mount’s shelter.  She has heartworms as well and will need to undergo treatment.  Please consider helping cover the medical costs of these precious souls.  They have been given a second chance and really deserve the very best that we can offer to them.  Every smile and wag is a reminder of how thankful they are for the wonderful people who have helped them on their new journey.  Remember we are a 501 c 3 so your donations are tax deductible!
