On October 18th I rescued two feral kittens from a grocery store parking lot. They were very scared and had to be trapped/lured. Three of us spent roughly 10 hours over three days attempting to catch these babies. Luckily, we were successful! Next comes the rehab and vet care.

The older one, Sunshine, is a buff colored female who appears to be about 14 weeks of age. The little one, Stormy, is a dilute tortie female who is around 8 weeks of age. Since they are both female, the potential for even more kittens to be born in the wild was certainly huge. Thankfully, we were able to get them before they were mature enough to become pregnant. However, even though they will be adopted out as house pets, they still need to be spayed.

While they appear healthy, they still need shots and to be tested for Feline Leukemia and FiV in addition to being spayed. I also have to keep treating them for fleas (I gave each a treatment the day after they arrived here, plus wormed them).

I will be fostering them while I work on taming them so they can find forever homes. Unfortunately, I have had unexpected expenses come up (both of my vehicles decided to crap out on me) and I am just not able to afford the vet bills for these babies by myself.

If you can spare anything for these babies it will help. I want to get them healthy and give them the absolute best chance at finding a forever home!
