Grayson is the son of Kim and Dan Avila-an 18 month old boy who has overcome a number of health issues thus far. However, in February 2013 Grayson met a match he has yet to beat. He suddenly started having frequent, long-lasting seizures; ultimately being diagnosed with Epilepsy. Unfortunately, his condition remains uncontrolled by medications. Grayson is in need of a service dog to allow him the freedom that he deserves to develop as a young boy. Since a service dog would be able to alert someone if and when a seizure is occurring, or possibly even predict an oncoming seizure, Grayson would be able to sleep in his own bed (something he hasn't done due to nighttime seizures) or attend play groups. A service dog would give Grayson a constant companion and confident guard to allow him the opportunity to participate in activities that are currently restricted. Service dog programs require that families applying raise $13,000 to aid in the costs associated with raising and training the dog. We need your help! Every contribution counts!

**If Grayson's application is denied all funds will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation and/or Hasbro Children's Hospital Neurodevelopment Clinic (a place near and dear to our hearts!)
