Amber is looking to run for the NJ Assembly and for the people of the 10th legislative district whose communities include Bay Head, Brick, Island Heights, Lakehurst, Lavallette, Manchester, Mantoloking, Point Pleasant Beach, Seaside Heights & Toms River. More ...
Amber is looking to run "for" the people of the 10th legislative district. To serve and help the residents of her hometown post SuperStorm Sandy destruction, as well as committing her time and effort to the important issues affecting her district and the state as a whole. When it comes to higher education, too many New Jersey families are finding college out of reach because of tuition costs that are rising far faster than inflation. Amber was able to get loans and work her way through school at Suffolk University and Kean University, but that’s not an option for many young people today. Amber will work to hold down tuition costs while partnering businesses with New Jersey’s colleges; so students get the skills they need for good jobs.
Under Governor Christie, New Jersey boasts the highest unemployment rate in the region, foreclosures are on the rise and New Jersey’s property taxes are the highest in the nation. With so many families struggling, Amber believes that it is time to get the middle class back to work. But she can't do it without your help!
