Happy Hen Chicken Rescue hasn't added a story.

Happy Hen Chicken Rescue saved Bessie several months ago. She came to us because her family's neighbors complained about Bessie's loud talking.

We welcomed Bessie and her sister Jill into our growing flock!

The other day Bessie developed a serious prolapse. This means that some of her large intestines are hanging out of her vent.  Lots of vet care is required .  

We need your help to get Bessie the care she needs and deserves .

Bessie is a strong young turkey!

She's about 9 months old and she has a strong will to live.

HAPPY HEN CHICKEN RESCUE is a California based animal rescue organization that specializes in abused farm animals.  We have saved over 400 chickens this year alone, plus turkeys, pigs, goats, and one very noisy goose.
