Ringwood resident's Karen Ellis has been volunteering for years in the Ambulance Corps. It's time to give back to her & her family now.

Her son, Chris, was diagnosed with leukemia several weeks ago, and the medical expenses are astronomical of course. 

I will be racing in my 13th Ironman World Championship on October 11th, a total of 140.6 miles (swimming, cycling & running),  and would like to raise some money for Chris (his friends call him "Moose"). You can donate a few pennies per mile, or whatever is comfortable for you. No donation is too small.

I have a long road ahead of me, but so does Moose...My race ends at the Finish Line, but he will continue to need medical care.
