My name is Stuart Norris and I along with a few others will be doing a walk from the Nomad Theatre, East Horsley in Surrey to Her Majesties Theatre in London. The date for this will be June 7th and the total distance is around 24 miles. The reason for doing this is becasue we are putting on a production of A Few Good Men, a show we are taking to the Edinburgh Fringe this August on behalf of the Nomad Theatre. We have to raise around £5000 to get this project up to Edinburgh, so far we have raised around £3500 by doing sponsored events such as, walks, car washes, Halloween Party, New Years Eve Cabaret and leg waxing. We have also been fortunate to have people donate large amounts to help fund the project.

We have one final hurdle we need to navigate and that is the costumes. To make the play as real as possible we are looking at buying Military and Naval uniforms from America, this will be by no means cheap.

This is the first Production I have produced and also the first time in a long time the Nomad Theatre has been represented at the Edinburgh Fringe. The standard at the Fringe is very high and we need to be at that very level and with YOUR HELP in funding the project to get the uniforms we will be able to put the finishing touch to what will be a very sucessfull production.
