My cousin Hannah and her husband James Wesley are pregnant with their 3rd child, a girl, Eva Maria, due in February. Recently, Eva Maria was diagnosed with a fast growing non-cancerous brain tumor called Teratoma. It was diagnosed during an ultrasound on October 3rd at Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh. They did some research and found that the best hospital to treat this type of tumor in infants is located at Boston’s Children Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, associated with Harvard University. They are world renowned for neurosurgery. They want the best for their daughter and will begin traveling to Boston for treatment at the end of the month until Eva is born.

The funds donated will help cover the expenses for Hannah and James to travel from Pittsburgh to Boston. They may have to stay for a few months until delivery. They will know more after their first initial appointments. We will keep you all posted as we know more.
