Joshua Wood has made it to the 2013 Junior Olympics in 4 events this year and would like your support. His events include the Triathlon (high jump, 400m, shot put), individual 400m, individual high jump and the 4 x 100 relay team. Very exciting!!!!!

My name is Joshua Wood. I am 9 years old. I go to Carson Elementary School in Puyallup, WA. I’ve been running track since I was 4 years old. At 6 years old, I started running for a select team, High Voltage Track Club in Seattle, WA, training with Olympic medalist Coach Johnnie Williams. My events this year include the Triathlon (Shot put, High jump & 400m) and Individual events 400m, High jump and 4 x 100 relay. This is my 3rd time attending the National Junior Olympics which is held in Greensboro, North Carolina this year (July, 22nd – July 28th, 2013). You can follow me at Nationals on the USATF website at

Last year at the Junior Olympics in Baltimore, MD, I placed 3rd nationally in the 4 x 400 relay, 7th nationally in the Triathlon and 9th nationally in the High Jump. To achieve becoming a 3 time Junior Olympic All American, I’m asking for the support of my family and friends. All athletes are responsible for travel and lodging expenses. If you could assist with a donation to make my expenses affordable, it would be highly appreciated. It will be an honor to represent you all for the love and support you will bless me with.

For any questions, please contact my dad, Victor Wood by email or phone (206)422-7880. You can make a donation by PayPal using email . , or send a check attention: Victor Wood, 18211 96th ave east, Puyallup, WA., 98375.

Thank you,

Joshua C. Wood
