Moly, the leader of Paramedical Educational Trust, is in need of our help! Moly devotes almost all of her time and money to helping others in her small South Indian community. Currently she is trying to assist women and children with HIV/AIDS and no other support systems. Often the husband abandons the family once he gives HIV to his wife, and the women and children are left with little to support themselves with. These women refuse to meet as a group to work towards improving their situations due to fear of the community shunning and chastising them. Moly has been able to convince some women to meet with her to work on ways to improve their health and wellbeing, as well as that of their children (many of whom are HIV positive as well).
This small amount of money will not only greatly improve Moly's chances of saving these families from despair, she also needs it by the end of March or the Indian Government will revoke her FCRA status (Permission to receive foreign contributions). This status is not easy for a small organization to receive and if Moly looses it her wonderful organization will face many problems. I spent four months working with her this winter and I can proudly stand behind her and her organization.
Please join me in supporting this women and her organization in helping those in great need as well as keeping her organization afloat.
THANK YOU!
or as they say in Tamil, Nandri!
