Hi my name is Ollie. I am 15 years old and was fortunate enough to be selected to attend the world scout Jamboree in Japan in 2015.

I have been a keen member of scouts since starting when I was about 6 years old. I attend many scouting events in the UK and get a lot from it.

When I heard about the Jamboree I decided that  nothing was going to stop me from applying, so i went ahead and applied. I then got asked to attend a selection camp which was quite scary. I had to prepare a presentation to the group, attend an interview and take part in a variety of group activities. Thankfully I got offered a place. I now have to sart fundraising to cover the cost.

I am a keen cyclist and climber. In April I plan to undertake a 70 mile bike ride across Kent from Westerham to Broadstairs. This will be the furthest I have ever cycled in a day, so will be quite a challenge for me. But I like a challenge, so am very excited about it. I will be doing other events throughout the year, so watch this space!!!!

For anyone who doesn't know me, this is a bigger challenge than for most 15 year old, as I have Dyspraxia and Asperger syndrome. Going to a whole new country where the food and culture is different will be one of my biggest challenges yet as well as never having flown before!

If you would like to sponsor me and help me to raise what i need to take part it will help to motivate me even more when I do my bike ride. Thank you for your support!
