Myles Domonic hasn't added a story.
First of all if your reading this that means you clicked on the link so I thank you for that.On Saturday at 2:54AM I was found asleep at a stop light. My Vehicle was in park and officers opened my car door in an attempt to wake me and remove me. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm an extremely deep sleeper.
Upon waking up there were multiple guns and tasers pointing at me while officers were telling me to exit my vehicle. I asked, with my hands up ", "what is going on, what did I do?" The officers said you have three seconds to exit your vehicle and then proceeded to tase after counting down very abruptly. I have never been arrested, had any run in with the law and did not show any aggression to law enforcement. After the initial tase, I was In a state of both shock and panic. I asked "why I had been tased?" with my hands still up and "what was going on?". Again, I was given a short three seconds to comply and get out of my vehicle. Although I had just been woken up in less than a minute ago. The officer then proceeded to tase me again (with my hands up). The second series of tasers hit my chest and neck. This caused me to seize for 15 seconds.
I was taken to jail, processed and eventually released under the grounds of suspicion of DUI and resisting arrest without violence. On the car ride to the jail I asked the officer, "why did you tase me, why am I so swollen?" His answer was " I don't know, you didn't get out the car fast enough and I've never tased anyone before so I'm not sure why your so swollen."After asking multiple times to see medical in jail I was refused and told to sit down and shut up.
Upon being released I went straight to the hospital. At the hospital they determined that the taser had knicked my lung causing air to seep into my chest, neck and face and get stuck in the tissue. This is called subcutaneous emphysema. I was forced to go to ICU to be monitored due to the fact that if the knick in my lung breached, my lung would of collapsed and I would need immediate surgery. I write this to you still in the hospital on 8/1/16. I should be released today.
I have had to pay for everything on my own since the age of 16 and I've managed to accomplish a lot in my life. However, I face multiple medical and legal fees in the near future that are quite likely going to be devastating to my future simply because I don't have the means or help to fight this case. I've beat many odds and statistics to get where I am and quite frankly I'm scared out of my mind. I need help in any form. I've never been one to ask for hand outs, but I have to suck up my pride and try something.
Please help in anyway at all.
Even if you can't help and you've read this far thank you so much for taking the time out of your day.
To everyone that has shown me love so far, your acts of kindness will never be forgotten and mean so much more than you'll ever realize.
