The Wilson Family has remained strong through many years of medical hardship.

Since Chris's Diagnosis he's lost over 110 pounds. He's in need of a lung transplant and double hip replacement. But because of the severity of other illness neither is currently an option. Let's help the Wilson family through their journey.

The Whole Story:  For those who may not be aware or fully aware here's what is going on with the Wilson family currently.  Chris (Tricia's Husband) is dealing with a lot of Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD), which is a common side effect from bone marrow transplants. The GVHD is attacking his body. His skin, joints, muscles, and lungs are affected. He also has been diagnosed with a condition called Bronchiolitis Obliterans and is in need of a lung transplant but because of the GVHD he cannot have the transplant at this time. He had a pulmonary function test done in October of last year, which reported that he had only 28% lung function. Since then, he has been hospitalized twice with pneumonia which has caused more damage to his already fragile lungs. He also has developed a condition called Respiratory Acidosis because of this lung issue. It causes toxic levels of carbon dioxide to build up in his blood stream causing a lot more problems. He is seeking treatment for all of this in Detroit, which is a 6 hour round trip drive. He is currently on oxygen and sleeps with a BiPap machine which seems to help control his Respiratory Acidosis which is great news. The treatment for the GVHD he has been trying is high doses of steroids and immunosuppressants. The long term steroid regime has caused major problems with his bone and muscle tissue. He has lost over 110 pounds since his diagnosis and is now in need of a double hip replacement due to the break down of his hip bones.

Recently on top of needing to receive medical treatment and the travel expenses that go with receiving treatment their bank account was hacked and was left with a negative balance.[Update: the bank is working with the Wilson's to get their $ back - but we still want to help them to rest easier and enjoy their family time by supporting the many medical trips required.]

It is never easy to ask people to lighten your load financially so I have requested they allow me to ask friends and family to help them.

Tricia tries very hard to support her family. She works two jobs as well when she takes her husband for treatments she continues working through a side job of transcription (This job if she goes fast earns about $4 an hour).

Let's give Chris and Trica a little blessing!

My request is simple- Just give what you can. $2 $5, $10, $20, $50?

Money will be used to help with medical & related travel expenses.
