Andrew was diagnosed with brain cancer at the young age of 23. He endured several brain surgeries to remove malignant tumors followed by chemotherapy and radiation. The most recent tumor was growing onto both sides of his brain and was inoperable. Doctors were using steroids in an attempt to shrink the tumor and unfortunately were unsuccessful. In early July 2013 Andrew was admitted to the hospital after losing control of the right side of his body along with many other complications from the growing tumor. His family was told he had 1-2 months once all treatments were stopped. His family and close friends spent the past 6 weeks visiting with him, showing him pictures, helping feed him and sharing their stories and love for him. Andrew passed away peacefully on the morning on August 14, 2013. We will forever miss his beautiful smile and contagious spirit. We know he is now reunited with his twin brother, Johnny, who we lost almost 7 years ago. If you would like to make a donation to help with the cost of his funeral and other medical expenses you can do so here. We appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and support during this very difficult time.
